Sabbir joined the Ph.D. program in EE at the University of Virginia and started working with Prof. Zebarjadi in the fall of 2018. He completed his Bachelor's and Master’s degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.  His current research work is focused on the thermomagnetic properties of semimetals and semiconductors.

Farjana obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016. Farjana joined the University of Virginia in August 2019 as a graduate student to pursue Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. She studies the transient electron gas energy conversion thermodynamic cycle using Monte Carlo simulation. Additionally, she is also focused on experimentally investigating electron and phonon transport in thin films and 2D materials for thermoelectric applications.

Sourav obtained his bachelor's degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2018 from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Bangladesh) and master's degree in electrical engineering in spring 2021 from Texas State University, Texas. He joined the Ph.D. program in EE at the University of Virginia and started working in the Energy Science Nanotechnology & Imagination Lab from fall 2021.
